About WMA

We are not the typical martial arts dojo! In fact we are not even a dojo, we are a school. The Japanese term "Do" refers to "the way" of something, (i.e. dojo = place of the way) and is heavily influenced by Eastern religious philosophy. WMA teaches modern combative tactics WITHOUT all the traditional Asian religious influence and practice.

Our combative system is designed completely for the reality of criminal assaults. Rather than focusing on point sparring and tournament events, we prepare students for various types of possible armed and unarmed assaults. We also teach pistol and edged weapons fighting tactics when legal use of deadly force is justified.

If you're serious about protecting yourself and family, then you must be serious about training!

We are to partner with the Beacon Rescue Mission in service and ministry to our community.

ABOUT GRAHAM

Graham has trained in Martial Arts since the early 1990's. Later, while on active duty in the U.S. Army, he was also trained in grappling and submission techniques.

​

His current training focuses on striking, greco-roman wrestling & clinch control, choking, joint locks, throwing, ground fighting techniques, and EDC weapon tactics (knife and pistol) in close quarter contexts.
